Let
me see your thong tha-thong-thong thong: It wasn't gravity
that kept Toni Braxton's gown in all the
right places at the 2001 Grammy Awards. "The dress
had a thong inside, and we used double-stick tape on
top," she told New York's Daily News. "It
stayed put all night." The gray jersey dress, on
loan from designer Richard Tyler, had half a front, no
sides and no back. Tyler said 10 people have already
called his Los Angeles store to request the $3,400 gown.
You know, I don't think 10 people are going to fit in
that. Visit http://grammy.com/ for a complete
list of the night's winners.
And
Iran, Iran so far away: A Lebanese town
has entered the Guinness Book of Records for making the
world's largest bowl of tabbouleh, a national salad dish
that has been steadily gaining popularity abroad. A
statement by Qurnet Shahwan municipality, in the hills
above Beirut, said it received a certificate from
Guinness World Record Ltd citing the 3,337-pound
tabbouleh -- washed, chopped and mixed by 158 people
during a town festival last year. Tabbouleh's main
ingredients are crushed wheat, tomatoes, lemon juice,
olive oil, parsley, mint and onion. The Lebanese often
wash the healthy salad down with Iraq, a strong spirit.
Now wait, sorry, that's "arak". My mistake.

And
that's my final answer: New "Live
with Regis and Kelly" co-host Kelly Ripa said
she'll talk just as incessantly about her children as her
predecessor, Kathie Lee Gifford, once did. "If
you're a mother and you don't talk about your children,
there is something very wrong with you," Ripa said
in the Feb. 24th issue of TV Guide. Just as long as she
doesn't start talking about Kathie Lee's kids, I think
this cutey will be worth watching. Visit http://tvplex.go.com/buenavista/livewithregis/ for a daily show

Herbs and Spices: Sporty Spice Mel
C, dumped by her latest boyfriend Dan Williams, now
fears that men find her tomboy image too frightening, the
Sun newspaper has reported. The paper said the Spice Girl
believed Dan, from the group Tomcat, was scared off by
her 10 tattoos. "Mel reckons her celebrity or her
tomboy appearance might frighten men away," the Sun
quoted a friend of Mel's as saying. Ok I can't believe I
am wasting space on this stupidity. I would refer you to www.spicegirls.com but it's
undergoing major reconstruction. Maybe Sporty should too,
huh?
