May 2001

A little late, but better than never. Here we are with a condensed May edition.
We apologize for keeping you in suspense! Our webmistress has been very busy lately with
her college studies. I am happy to announce she has made the President's Honor Roll again.
That's news well worth our wait!

And now, we have some great reading for you ...

If Bunny and Coug were Survivor jurors, who would have won the million dollars?
Bunny Sez/Coug Sez ....Tina? Colby?

And, the
Whisker Watch brings us part two of how to leash train a kitty.
Mocha Sez .... leashes are HOT!

Ta-ta for now, we'll see you in June with another condensed edition!

The Easter Bunny needs a vacation this year. Which imaginary character would be his best substitute?

No wonder there was NoDumbEasterBunny this year -- 40% of you voted for the ever -elusive Steve 336! My guess is that 20% of our readers are men.
30% NoDumbBunny
20% Xena, Warrior Princess
5% The Chicken That Crossed The Road
5% Mr. Right

Thanks to everyone who voted! Don't forget to vote in this month's quizlet immediately below.

The sun is shining. Unless you're reading this at night. Then, the sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun. So I am off to die my hair orange and poke my eyeballs out.

Saint Jude Retreat House

95% of the people who go to their first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting never return for a subsequent meeting. Those same people look elsewhere, such as conventional treatment for solutions to their addictions. Of the 5% that do stay in Alcoholics Anonymous, many of those continue to drink and use drugs.

Because of a lack of options, many addicts and alcoholics find themselves feeling trapped in AA, conventional treatment and/or the mental health system. Most of these people will go to multiple conventional rehabilitation centers/hospitals and still relapse on a consistent basis.

The research of the St. Jude Retreat House over the past eight years has proved that a social/educational program for the recovery from alcohol and drug addiction is, by far, the most successful recovery methodology.

The Jude Thaddeus Program at the St. Jude Retreat House is the first and only social/educational program in New York State. It teaches people how to stay sober and drug free forever, not one day at a time. The atmosphere at the St. Jude Retreat House is a turn of the century Victorian mansion bed and breakfast. When you walk through the doors you realize that this is not a sterile, cold rehabilitation treatment center. The St. Jude Retreat House is warm, inviting and home-like, making the experience of getting well pleasant. Because getting well should be a pleasure, not a punishment.
