December 2000

by krstl kitten

It’s the holiday season, and there are many ways to celebrate. I was raised with Christmas. It wasn’t until adulthood that I knew there were other holiday celebrations,
like Kwanza and Chanukah. No matter what the celebration, I believe kids everywhere enjoy music and stories. So this month, please take a moment to venture through these links and see if you don’t find something enjoyable for your family.

One of the traditions my family has is to ‘adopt’ a family. Every year, we provide a meal and gifts to a family unable to do so on their own. I am now 46 years old and have been doing this since childhood. It’s never too early (or too late) to begin a tradition of loving our fellow man and providing what we can, not only at this holiday time, but all through the year.

Happy holidays and peace to each and every one of you…..from
me.
