Out Of The Closet: British pop singer Sir Elton John is selling off 20,000 items of his clothing for charity. John has become almost as famous for his outrageous outfits and spending binges as for his music. The doors to his temporary shop in London opened on Wednesday, Nov 29th to raise money for AIDS research. "You can buy as much as you want, but the price is set -- there'll be no haggling," says the singer's spokeswoman, Petra Walton. All of the items are priced below their purchase value, with some selling for as little as five percent of their original value. Gee, I wonder how much that $70,000 silver suit and massive wig he wore to his 50th birthday party three years ago is going to be? I mean, that's not too outlandish to wear around the office is it? Sign Of The Times: Actor John Stamos of "Full House" fame has paid some $30,000 in an online auction for a giant "Disneyland" sign. The auction was held on the newly constructed Walt Disney Co. page of Ebay. According to the report, Stamos plans to display only the "D" portion of the sign in a party barn he plans to construct at his Santa Monica, CA, ranch and will put the rest of the letters in storage. Now maybe Michael Jackson can get that authentic Peter Pan he's had his eye on. Oh wait, that's not a statue, that's a guy in a costume! For more official Disney auctions visit www.ebay.disney.com

I Want A New Drug: Actor Robert Downey Jr., who was just released from prison three months ago, faces more legal troubles for alleged drug abuse. Downey was bailed out early Sunday, Nov. 26th for $15,000, after police in Palm Springs arrested him late the night before and charged him with possession of cocaine and methamphetamine. Officers responded to an anonymous 911 call at around 9 p.m. that indicated there were drugs and guns in a hotel room at the Merv Griffin Resort. When police arrived, they found Downey alone in the room with the drugs and was arrested without incident. Well, he's first on my list for Death Pool 2001. Santa Baby: 70-year old actress Eartha Kitt has completed her 20 city tour encompassing the country as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz. She is now currently touring the country in "Rogers & Hammersteins Cinderella." Batman's infamous Catwoman is still HOTter than ever. Now in her fifth decade of making men nervous, Eartha Kitt still electrifies audiences with her one-of-a-kind persona. She is at her best while peppering her flirty sets with gold-digging songs about champagne, stretch limos and pearls. Funny, I thought Madonna invented that?
